Thank you for your interest in joining the Worcester Athletic Club!
Worcester Athletic Club is committed to creating an active and healthy community. We will motivate, inspire and engage our community to enjoy a healthier lifestyle, through track and field, running, walking, and adventure.
Our mission is to “ inspire people through athletics” providing opportunity and support and in doing so improve not only the lives of participants but also the social environment.
We are proudly affiliated with Boland Athletics and Athletics South Africa (ASA).
We are thrilled to welcome new athletes to our community. To ensure a smooth registration process, please complete the following three steps:
Step 1: Athletics South Africa Registration: As an important first step, all members must be registered nationally. Please head over to the Athletics South Africa website ASA Clubs to complete your ASA application. Should you have any trouble with registering, download the form here and email your completed form to The Administrator.
Step 2: Club Application: Once your ASA registration is complete, you can finalize your membership application with us by filling out the official Worcester Athletic Club application form here .
Step 3: Pay your fees. See the detail below.
If you have any questions or need assistance with either of these forms, please do not hesitate to contact our club administrator. We look forward to seeing you at the club!
Sign in to the ASA Web registration system. The system is fairly self-explanatory, but here are step-by-step instructions if you need them:
Select the Register Now! button.
Agree to the disclaimer.
Enter your identifying information (normally an ID number), select the type and press Verify ID. If the ID number you've entered is valid, the Details window will appear.
Enter all your personal details. You may need to use your mouse, as the tabbing between fields does not work properly. The birth date must be entered in SANS/ISO format (e.g. 2014-12-28). Press Next
Select Boland Athletics and Worcester AC. Select your Duties as "Athlete". When you're done, press Save.
If the system acknowledges (in green print) that the information has been updated, Step 1 is complete and you can log off from the ASA system.
If you are already registered on the system, you'll receive an error message if you try to register. Simply select the Login tab, log in and select the Edit My Details tab. You can now verify that all your details are correct. You can view the instructions here, if you need them.
If you have trouble logging in, there may be a problem with your password. You can ask The Registrar to change your password. Once you've logged in, you can change your password again to suit yourself.
Please follow the link to the application form.
